WHO AM I?
I am Kevin Thomma, the solo creative behind Weird Cabinet. I’ve spent the last 15 years carefully crafting my skills in motion design, animation, and building things with my hands. Now it’s time to share what I’ve learned in my own way.
WHAT IS IT?
Weird cabinet is a collection of all things I find passion in. It’s a place to share my animation and woodworking, its ideas and concepts, it’s collaboration, it’s a mindset, it’s some rough around the edges backwoods weird shit. It’s a place where stories come to life. A place to let your hair down and your weird go wild.
As a concept it’s both physical and metaphysical. I want to create a space that resembles the part of your brain where your weird thoughts live. When those weird thoughts start to itch, Weird Cabinet is here to scratch.
The goal is to inspire and be inspired to create one of a kind handcrafted curiosities both digitally and physically. I like to use my hands and feel my work. I allow my feelings, emotions, and senses to guide me to create things completely grounded in nature. Every creation is a portal into a new world often telling stories nurtured through collaboration.
